Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8 oz. natural Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 clove garlic
- 12 oz. beer
- 1 loaf French bread, cubed
- dash of red pepper sauce
Method
- Toss flour, salt, pepper and cheese.
- Cut garlic in half and rub around fondue pot.
- Heat beer in pot over low heat.
- At high heat, add cheese, one cup at a time, stirring after each addition, until cheese is blended.
- Stir in red pepper sauce.
- Cut bread into 1-inch cubes.
- Eat by spearing a cube with a fondue fork and dipping in the sauce.
- Serves 4.
