Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. sharp cheese, coarsely grated
- 1/4 lb. chipped beef, finely chopped
- 1 (4 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 beaten egg
Method
- Combine cheese, tomato sauce, beef and garlic.
- Heat over water in double boiler until cheese is melted.
- Remove garlic. Remove mixture from heat and add beaten egg.
- Age for several days in refrigerator.
- Reheat and serve as hot dip with crackers. (Chafing dish works well.)
- Makes 3 cups.
