Ingredients
- 1 bag frozen hash browns, slightly thawed
- 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 16 oz. carton sour cream
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. diced onions
- 1/2 diced green pepper
- 1 stick margarine or butter, cut in pieces
- 2 c. corn flakes, crushed
Method
- Crush corn flakes and combine with 1/2 stick melted margarine; set aside. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan or two 8 x 8-inch pans.
- Spread in potato mixture. Sprinkle corn flake mixture over potatoes.
- Shake on paprika for color, if desired.
- Preheat oven to 350° and bake for 1 hour.
