Ingredients

  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 12 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • 14 cup maple syrup
  • 14 chopped nuts
  • 13 cup raisins
  • 1 apple
  • milk

Method

  • Preheat over to 300 degrees.
  • In a medium bowl at oats.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon and vanilla sugar and pour maple syrup in a circle on top.
  • Stir until mixed well.
  • Generously coat a large baking sheet with no-stick cooking spray.
  • With the spoon, spread cereal evenly on the sheet.
  • Bake untilthe flakes are golden brown (around 15 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  • Remove cereal from oven and allow to cool.
  • Pour cereal into an airtight container and add nuts and raisins, mixing well.
  • The cereal may be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • To serve, divide cereal into 4 bowls.
  • Peel and core an apple and grate it on top of cereal.
  • Add milk to taste.
