Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 3/4 cup White wine (dry vermouth)
  • 1/4 cup Parsley (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon Cream
  • 1 pound Cavatappi

Method

  • Cube sausage and cook with olive oil in saute pan. Set aside
  • Melt butter (brown slightly if desired). Add garlic and saute
  • Deglaze with wine. Reduce
  • Add sausage and cook for 3 minutes or so
  • Add cream, parmesan, parsley and cook until slightly thicker
  • Combine with pasta and serve
