Ingredients
- 1 c. finely chopped red bell peppers
- 1 c. finely chopped canned jalapeno peppers
- 6 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. white vinegar
- 1 bottle liquid pectin
Method
- Both peppers need to be seeded.
- Put all of ingredients, except the pectin, into a large kettle and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes; stir constantly.
- Remove from heat and pour in the pectin.
- Continue to stir until begins to thicken (about 20 minutes).
- Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
- Makes 6 half-pints.
