- 2 lb. ground chuck (beef)
- 1 large can V-8 juice
- 1 medium can tomatoes
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. oregano, ground
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 small sections garlic, crushed
- 1 bay leaf (optional)
- red pepper and black pepper to taste
Method
- Brown onion, green pepper and garlic in butter.
- Brown meat and drain off fat, then add other ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer for 2 hours.
