Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. Karo light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 2 c. whipping cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Bring to a boil.
- Gradually add 2 cups whipping cream.
- Keep mixture boiling over low heat.
- Cook until medium firm ball forms when tested in cold water.
- Add vanilla.
- Pour into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
- When cool and firm, cut in small pieces and wrap in waxed paper.
