Ingredients
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. cream
- 1 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 6 eggs
Method
- Caramel together butter, cream and sugar until real dark; turn off heat and add 5 quarts milk.
- Let caramel melt.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Cook like cornstarch.
