Ingredients
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
Method
- Mix egg yolks, 1 cup sugar, flour and milk.
- Brown 1/2 cup sugar (in heavy, 6-inch skillet) and add to mixture.
- Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until brown sugar dissolves and thickens.
- Pour into a 9-inch baked pie crust.
- Beat egg whites until stiff, gradually adding 6 tablespoons of sugar.
- Brown in a 350° oven.
