Ingredients

  • 49 Kraft caramels (14 oz.)
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 5 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. salted peanuts (no husks)
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips

Method

  • Melt caramels with water over low heat.
  • Stir until smooth. Mix cereal and peanuts in separate bowl.
  • Pour melted caramels over cereal mixture and stir until well coated.
  • Press into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Sprinkle chips over.
  • Melt in 200° oven for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and spread melted chips evenly.
