Ingredients
- 6 c. crispy rice cereal
- 1 (14 oz.) bag individually wrapped caramels
- 2 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1/4 c. butter-flavor vegetable shortening
- 2 Tbsp. water
Method
- Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan with butter; set aside.
- Place cereal in a large bowl; set aside.
- Unwrap caramels and place them in a 1-quart glass dish.
- Add marshmallows, shortening and water, stirring after each minute.
- Microwave on High for 4 minutes, or until shapes are melted.
