Ingredients
- 2 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 6 qt. popped corn
Method
- Bring to boil; stir to hard ball (260° or about 5 minutes). Remove and stir in soda quickly.
- Pour over popped corn.
- Stir well.
- Bake at 200° for one hour.
- Stir 2 or 3 times while baking. Turn out of pan or will stick.
