Ingredients
- 2 c. Cool Whip
- 1 large banana, sliced
- 1/2 pkg. vanilla caramels (about 1 1/4 c.)
- 1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk (2/3 c.)
- 3 to 4 drops bitters
- 6 slices pound cake
Method
- Fold banana into Cool Whip.
- Chill.
- Combine caramels with milk.
- Cook and stir over medium heat until caramels are melted; stir in bitters.
- To serve, top cake slices with banana mixture, then with warm caramel sauce.
- Makes 6 servings.
