Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. Karo syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 18 oz. peanut butter
- 1 1/2 lb. chocolate (for coating)
Method
- Prepare a buttered cookie sheet with sides (jelly roll pan). Place peanut butter into greased large bowl. Cook the sugar, Karo and water to 290°.
- Pour into peanut butter. Stir quickly and pour into prepared pan.
- Press flat. Score and cut into pieces.
- Melt chocolate over warm water. Drop candy into chocolate and onto wax paper to set.
- Wrap in foil or plastic wrap.
