Ingredients
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 lb. pecans, shelled
Method
- Simmer all ingredients, but pecans, in a skillet for about 4 minutes, until mixture forms a thread from spoon.
- Remove from fire and stir in pecans.
- Continue to stir until syrup forms a sugar coating all over the nuts.
- Cool separately so the nuts won't stick together.
