Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 tsp. cocoa
- 2 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Mix all ingredients and cook over medium heat until thick in heavy saucepan or skillet.
- Pour into cooled, cooked pie crust and top with meringue.
- Brown in medium oven.
- This makes two small pies or one deep-dish pie.
