Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 c. Pecan halves
  • 1/2 c. Light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Powdered Chile
  • 1 Tbsp. Grnd cumin
  • 1/4 c. Cider vinegar Salt, to taste

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375 F. Heat butter over medium heat in a large skillet.
  • Add in the pecans and saute/fry till lightly browned, about 3 min.
  • Add in the brown sugar and cook till caramelized.
  • Stir in the paprika, chile pwdr and cumin.
  • Add in the vinegar and cook till all the liquid has evaporated.
  • Season with salt.
  • Spread the pecans on a cookie sheet and bake in an oven till crisp, about 3 to 5 min.
