- 1 head leaf lettuce or romaine
- 1/2 c. croutons
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese (not spaghetti type, canned Parmesan cheese)
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 5 anchovy fillets (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Method
- Wash and dry lettuce. Tear into bite-size pieces.
- Put in large bowl.
- Add all other ingredients, except croutons, into blender.
- Mix about 10 seconds.
- Pour over lettuce, add croutons on top.
- Serve.
