Ingredients

  • 1 head leaf lettuce or romaine
  • 1/2 c. croutons
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese (not spaghetti type, canned Parmesan cheese)
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 5 anchovy fillets (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Wash and dry lettuce. Tear into bite-size pieces.
  • Put in large bowl.
  • Add all other ingredients, except croutons, into blender.
  • Mix about 10 seconds.
  • Pour over lettuce, add croutons on top.
  • Serve.
