Ingredients
- 1 large head cabbage
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 small onions, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
Method
- Gently pull off 8 large cabbage leaves from the head.
- Simmer in 1-inch boiling water, covered, for 5 minutes.
- Drain and lay out for filling.
