Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 qt. tomatoes and juice
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 qt. water
- 1 (14 oz.) can kidney beans
- 1/2 head chopped cabbage
Method
- Brown hamburger and drain.
- Add all other ingredients except cabbage.
- Simmer 15 minutes.
- Add cabbage; simmer until flavor is blended and cabbage is cooked.
- The longer it simmers the better it tastes.
- Can be frozen and then reheated (flavor improves).
