Ingredients
- 6 c. shredded cabbage
- 3 slices bread, cubed
- 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/4 lb. cheese, cubed
- sauce
Method
- Cook cabbage in salted boiling water for 5 minutes.
- In 2-quart casserole, layer half of cabbage and half of bread mixed with butter and half of cheese.
- Cover with half of sauce.
- Repeat layers with cheese on top.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
