Ingredients

  • 1 medium cabbage, shredded (2 qt.)
  • 1 can cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. grated American cheese
  • 1 c. soft bread crumbs, buttered

Method

  • Heat oven to 400°.
  • Cook cabbage in boiling water (salted) 10 minutes; drain well.
  • Place in baking dish (10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch). Blend soup, milk and cheese.
  • Heat until cheese is melted. Pour over cabbage.
  • Top with bread crumbs.
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until bread crumbs turn golden brown.
