Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 12 cup cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 34 cups flour
  • 12 tablespoon baking powder
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 2 13 cups powdered sugar
  • 12 teaspoon mint extract
  • 1 -2 drop green food coloring
  • 12 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon corn syrup

Method

  • Brownie: Melt butter in medium saucepan and mix in cocoa and honey.
  • Let cool and beat in the eggs.
  • Add sugar and the dry ingredients, mix sparingly.
  • Just until the flour is combined.
  • Spread in a 9x13 pan and bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Cool completely and top with the mint topping.
  • Refrigerate at least one hour and frost with icing.
  • Mint topping directions: Soften butter and mix everything together until light and fluffy.
  • Chocolate Icing directions: Melt chocolate slowly over the lowest heat, add the whipping cream in when the chocolate is partially melted.
  • Add the corn syrup and mix.
  • Dribble over the mint topping, spread out evenly and chill.
  • Cut into small pieces, these are rich.
