Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 1/4 c. sifted flour
  • 1 lb. light brown sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. chopped walnuts

Method

  • Cream butter and cheese together.
  • Mix in flour a little at a time, creaming after each addition.
  • Chill about 3 hours.
  • Break off pieces the size of walnuts (depending on size of muffin pan) and with fingers, pat dough to cover bottom and sides of each lightly greased muffin cup.
