Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. plain flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs (not beaten)
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
Method
- Melt butter and let cool.
- Add brown sugar, stirring well, then add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
- Add flour, salt and baking powder sifted together.
- Add vanilla and nuts. Put in well greased pan.
- Cook for 30 minutes at 325°.
- Cut while warm into squares.
- Roll in powdered sugar.
- Makes approximately 50 squares.
