Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar (granulated)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Mix flour, brown sugar and salt.
- Add to milk and butter. Cook until thick.
- Add beaten egg yolks.
- Cook about 15 minutes longer until real thick.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla and 1/2 cup granulated sugar.
- Pour into baked pie shell and top with meringue.
