Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 c. dry red wine
- 1 tsp. instant minced onion
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
Method
- Lightly mix ground beef, pecans, salt and pepper.
- Shape into 4 patties.
- Brown on both sides.
- Drain.
- Add wine and onion. Cover; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove patties to platter.
- Blend water and cornstarch.
- Add to pan juices.
- Cook and stir until boiling.
- Pour over patties on serving platter.
- Makes 4 servings.
