Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 10 oz. broccoli
  • 1 c. rice
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cans Campbell's cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce (optional)

Method

  • In skillet, saute onion with margarine (and soy sauce, if desired).
  • Add ground beef; cook until beef is brown.
  • Drain away excess grease.
  • Cook rice and broccoli separately until both are fully cooked.
  • Drain broccoli.
  • Add rice and broccoli to the 2 cans of mushroom soup in large casserole dish.
  • Add beef and onion; stir until well mixed.
  • Top with cheese.
  • Heat in oven at 400° until cheese is fully melted.
