Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 1/4 c. butter, softened
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 1/4 c. flour
Method
- Beat brown sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla and egg yolk; mix well.
- Add flour, stir until mixture forms a smooth dough.
- Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned and set.
