Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Bake pecans in a single layer in a shallow pan 6 to 8 minutes or until toasted and fragrant, stirring halfway through. Cool 10 minutes. Pulse in a food processor until finely ground.
  • Stir together butter and next 2 ingredients until sugar dissolves. Stir in ground pecans. Serve immediately, or chill until ready to serve. Let stand at room temperature 20 minutes before serving.
