Ingredients

  • 1 cup firmly packed C & H Golden Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Land O Lakes Butter, softened
  • 2 Land O Lakes Eggs
  • 2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

Method

  • Heat oven to 325F.
  • Grease 8-inch square baking pan; set aside.
  • Combine brown sugar and butter in bowl.
  • Beat at medium speed until creamy.
  • Add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Add melted chocolate; continue beating until well mixed.
  • Add flour; beat at low speed until well mixed.
  • Stir in nuts.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake 25-28 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan.
  • (Do not overbake.)
  • Cool in pan; cut into bars.
