Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 pkg. frozen Fordhook lima beans
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 3 c. Rice Krispies, lightly browned in butter
  • 1 stick butter

Method

  • Cook vegetables until barely tender.
  • Blend mushroom soup, sour cream and onion mix.
  • Stir into cooked vegetables.
  • Add water chestnuts.
  • Spoon into a buttered 9 x 13-inch casserole.
  • Top with Rice Krispies that have been browned lightly in butter.
  • Cover loosely with foil and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
