Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. chicken breasts, sliced finely
  • 1 garlic clove chopped
  • 1 inch cube ginger chopped
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 small head broccoli chopped
  • 1 carrot sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp cornstarch mixed with a little water

Method

  • 1. Mix together the ginger, garlic and soy sauce. Add the chicken and marinade for 1 hour.
  • 2. Heat the wok and add a little oil. Add the chicken and stir fry over a low heat for 5 minutes.
  • 3. Add the remaining vegetables and stir fry for a further 5 minutes.
  • 4. Add the remaining sauce ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes. If necessary, add a little of the cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce.
