Ingredients
- 1 small jar Cheez Whiz
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 c. cooked rice
Method
- Gather tender young poke leaves early in the morning ,while the dew is still on, and gather a large shopping bag full.
- Pick over and wash through 3 waters.
- Place in a kettle with one or two cups of water, a piece of salt pork or bacon drippings.
- Bring to a good boil and when poke wilts down into the water, reduce heat and cook slowly until tender.
