Ingredients
- 1 c. rice
- 2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 small onion
- 1 pkg. frozen broccoli
- 1 c. cheese (Cheddar or Velveeta)
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 can mushroom soup
- Durkee onions
Method
- Cook rice in water with salt.
- Cook on low heat until all water is gone.
- Combine onion and broccoli.
- Place in casserole dish and thaw in microwave for approximately 5 minutes.
- Add cheese to cooked rice.
- Combine milk and soup with rest of ingredients.
- Place in greased casserole dish and bake for 1 hour at 350°.
- Add Durkee onions and shredded Cheddar cheese toward end of baking.
