Ingredients

  • 1 c. rice
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 pkg. frozen broccoli
  • 1 c. cheese (Cheddar or Velveeta)
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • Durkee onions

Method

  • Cook rice in water with salt.
  • Cook on low heat until all water is gone.
  • Combine onion and broccoli.
  • Place in casserole dish and thaw in microwave for approximately 5 minutes.
  • Add cheese to cooked rice.
  • Combine milk and soup with rest of ingredients.
  • Place in greased casserole dish and bake for 1 hour at 350°.
  • Add Durkee onions and shredded Cheddar cheese toward end of baking.
