Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. rice
- 3 (10 1/2 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 stick oleo
Method
- Cook rice; wash and drain.
- Cook broccoli; drain.
- Saute onion in oleo.
- Mix soup, milk and cheese until smooth.
- Add onion and oleo.
- In buttered 9 x 13-inch pan, layer 1/2 rice, 1/2 broccoli and 1/2 sauce.
- Repeat.
- Cover with fried onion rings or bread crumbs.
- Bake for 35 minutes at 350°.
