Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) frzn pie shell
  • 5 Large eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. frzn hash brown potatoes
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 c. cottage cheese
  • 1/3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 drops liquid warm pepper sauce
  • 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Method

  • Thaw pie shell at room temperature for 20 min.
  • Beat Large eggs.
  • Add in potatoes, cheese, lowfat milk, onion and seasonings.
  • Mix till well combined.
  • Pour mix into unbaked pie shell.
  • Sprinkle bacon over pie.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for 50 min or possibly till knife inserted near center comes out clean.
