Ingredients
- 4 qt. sliced cucumbers
- 6 medium onions, sliced
- 1/3 c. canning salt
- 3 c. white vinegar
- 5 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
Method
- Mix cucumbers, onions and canning salt.
- Cover with ice water and let stand 3 hours.
- Mix vinegar, sugar, turmeric, celery seed and mustard seed.
- Cook until hot.
- Drain cucumbers and add to brine.
- Boil up, pack and seal.
