Ingredients

  • 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1 cup brandy
  • 2 cups hot brewed coffee
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Method

  • Cook chocolate and half-and-half in a large saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate melts (do not boil).
  • Add brandy, coffee, and sugar, stirring until sugar melts.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Beat whipping cream and vanilla at high speed with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  • Fold into coffee mixture.
  • Serve immediately.
