Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes Butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 (12-ounce) package white baking chips
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons maple flavoring
  • 50 walnut halves or pieces

Method

  • Line 13 x 9-inch pan with aluminum foil, extending foil over edges.
  • Set aside.
  • Combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt in heavy-duty saucepan.
  • Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil.
  • Boil, stirring constantly, 4-5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in marshmallows, nuts, white baking chips and maple flavoring.
  • Stir 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted.
  • Pour into prepared baking pan.
  • Place nut halves in rows on top of fudge, spacing about 1/2 inch apart.
  • Press nuts into fudge.
  • Cover; refrigerate until firm.
  • Lift fudge out of pan using foil ends.
  • Remove foil; cut into squares.
