Ingredients
- 5 c. finely chopped peaches
- 1 c. finely chopped orange
- shredded rind or 1 orange
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 6 c. sugar
- 1 c. brandy
Method
- Skin and pit peaches.
- Chop.
- Remove peel, white portion and seeds from oranges.
- Chop.
- Put all ingredients except brandy into a large kettle.
- Boil on medium-high heat, stirring frequently to prevent scorching until mixture thickens, about 45 minutes.
- Stir in brandy.
- Ladle into jars and seal.
