Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups 100% wheat bran high fibre cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup melted butter or margarine
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Magic Baking Powder
  • Kraft Pure Strawberry Jam

Method

  • MIX cereal, milk, butter and egg; let stand 2 minutes.
  • Blend flour, sugar and baking powder; mix into cereal mixture until just moistened
  • FILL lightly greased muffin cups three-quarters full.
  • Make a hole in each muffin with wooden spoon handle and fill with 1 tsp (5 mL) jam.
  • BAKE at 400F (200C) for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Let cool 5 minutes before removing from pan.
  • Fill hole with more jam.
