Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups 100% wheat bran high fibre cereal
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/3 cup melted butter or margarine
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Magic Baking Powder
- Kraft Pure Strawberry Jam
Method
- MIX cereal, milk, butter and egg; let stand 2 minutes.
- Blend flour, sugar and baking powder; mix into cereal mixture until just moistened
- FILL lightly greased muffin cups three-quarters full.
- Make a hole in each muffin with wooden spoon handle and fill with 1 tsp (5 mL) jam.
- BAKE at 400F (200C) for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Let cool 5 minutes before removing from pan.
- Fill hole with more jam.
