Ingredients
- 1 bunch carrots, scraped
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 oz. bourbon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. fresh dill, chopped
Method
- Slice carrots crosswise at angle.
- Place in saucepan with butter, maple syrup, salt and lemon juice.
- Simmer over low flame, covered, until tender-crisp.
- Add bourbon.
- Simmer, uncovered, 1 minute more.
- Serve sprinkled with dill.
- Makes 4 servings.
