Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- dash of salt
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (your choice)
- 1/2 c. raisins
Method
- Stir together flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; set aside.
- In medium bowl, cream butter and gradually add sugar, creaming well.
- Beat in egg.
- Thoroughly blend in flour mixture. Stir in nuts and raisins.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls 1-inch apart on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes or until delicately brown.
