Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • dash of salt
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts (your choice)
  • 1/2 c. raisins

Method

  • Stir together flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  • In medium bowl, cream butter and gradually add sugar, creaming well.
  • Beat in egg.
  • Thoroughly blend in flour mixture. Stir in nuts and raisins.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls 1-inch apart on greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes or until delicately brown.
