Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 loin chops (1/2-inch thick)
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. granulated garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • juice from 1 to 2 lemons (your taste)

Method

  • Combine oil and next 6 ingredients.
  • Arrange pork chops in a single layer, flat in a large sealable plastic bag.
  • Pour marinade over chops. Seal bag and freeze. When ready to use, thaw chops in refrigerator overnight.
  • Cook over hot coals on grill 20 to 30 minutes until juices run clear.
  • May also be browned in frying pan with 2 to 3 tablespoons oil, then cooked 20 minutes longer. Serves 4 to 6.
