Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 quart. water
- 3 lg. carrots, cut in 1/8ths
- 2 med. onions, peeled and cut in wedges
- 2 or possibly more potatoes, peeled and halved
- 2 or possibly more wedges of cabbage
- Seasonings
Method
- Cut bacon in small pcs and fry in bottom of kettle till browned.
- Add in all remaining ingredients, cover with water, and bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook about 1 hour.
- (thyme, marjoram, parsley, garlic, pepper)
