Ingredients
- 1 lb. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 beaten eggs
- 1 (2 oz.) bottle lemon extract
- 4 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. white raisins
- 4 c. shelled pecans
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Method
- Soften butter and cream sugar together, add beaten eggs and lemon extract, mix thoroughly.
- Sift dry ingredients together and add half to butter and sugar mixture.
- Blend.
- Add raisins and pecans to other half of dry ingredients.
- Add everything and mix well.
- Put in a greased tube pan.
- Sit on top shelf and add pie pan of water on lower shelf.
- Bake at 300° for 2 hours.
