Ingredients
- 1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. butter, divided
- 2 1/4 c. sugar, divided
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. flour, divided
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. blueberries (fresh or frozen)
Method
- Grease a 10-inch tube pan with 2 tablespoons butter.
- Sprinkle pan with 1/4 cup sugar.
- Cream remaining 1 cup butter, gradually adding 2 cups sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add vanilla and mix well.
- Combine 2 3/4 cups flour with baking powder and salt.
- Gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
