Ingredients
- 1 French baguette
- 2 large ripe pears
- 1/3 lb. creamy, ripe bleu cheese
- Appx. 20 whole walnuts
Method
- -Slice the baguette in approximately 20 thin slices.
- -Toast and cool, set aside.
- -Slice the pears in approximately 20 thin slices,set aside.
- -Slice the bleu cheese in approximately 20 thin slices set aside.
- -Assemble a baguette slice, top with a pear slice, top with a cheese slice, and then a whole walnut.
- -Place on a cookie sheet.
- -Broil in oven and watch carefully until the cheese is just melted and the walnut is toasted.
- -Serve warm.
